Banister Auction Services is owned and operated by Dave & Lisa
Banister of Marinette, WI. We have lived in the area since 1996 and maintained
an active role in the community, including school participation while our two
children attended Peshtigo Schools. Dave served as a director of the Peshtigo
Chamber of Commerce for approx. 8 yrs, including one term as president, and is a
past member and treasurer of the Marinette County Board of Realtors. He is a
Wisconsin Certified Real Estate Appraiser and approved RE appraisal instructor
for Michigan and Wisconsin. Dave has owned and operated Banister Appraisal
Services successfully for over 13 years.
Banister Auction Services was created out of a desire to provide
those in need of auction services in NE Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of
Michigan with a fresh alternative. We’ve paid close attention to the comments
and concerns many of you have shared and expressed over the years. We felt the
need to establish Banister Auction Services in order to answer the call for a
more efficient, professional and fair auction service in the area. We truly want
to be “The Better Choice”.
We have assembled an experienced staff with an extensive knowledge of the
industry, including all aspects of the auction method of selling. From antiques
and collectibles to real estate and consignments to specialty items, our staff
has participated in each of these fields over the years. We understand the
importance of proper marketing and know how to reach the best buyers for our
auctions.
We want your auction experience to be a positive one, regardless of your role in
the process as either a seller or buyer. We will offer a very open and
straight-forward auction process, from start to finish. Our absolute goal is to
produce the best results for our sellers while ensuring our buyers are content
and satisfied with their experiences with Banister Auction Services.
